The Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy faculty and staff held a drive-thru event to celebrate graduates of the Class of 2020. Since the annual hooding ceremony was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, honoring the school’s newest Doctors of Pharmacy required some creativity.

Graduates remained in their cars while faculty and staffed lined the parking lot to cheer and congratulate them.  Graduates had several stops to receive keepsakes such as an alumni lapel pin, alumni car decal, and a mini composite of their class.  At the last stop, each graduate was presented their diploma by Dr. Kurt Wargo, dean of the PC School of Pharmacy.  The event was a success with lots of smiles and even a few tears of joy.

The traditional hooding ceremony for the Class of 2020 is scheduled for August 22 in Belk Auditorium on the Presbyterian College campus.
