Department of Pharmacy Practice

Our primary mission is to improve the health of the people we serve and positively impact the delivery of quality equitable pharmacy care.

From community practitioners to critical care specialists, our faculty members are excellent role models, providing pharmacy care services and enlightened leadership in addressing the health care needs of a diverse patient population.

Faculty interests are varied, from providing care to indigent patients to worksite wellness and disease state management.

We provide comprehensive and state of the art clinical services in addition to teaching students in the classroom and laboratories.

Our collaborations with regional healthcare institutions allow Pharmacy Practice faculty to provide pharmacy care services and enrich the learning experiences for our students.

Our partnership with the free medical clinics of South Carolina allows our faculty and students to serve the healthcare needs of our community and truly live the motto, “While we live, we serve.”
