If you have questions about any of the items listed below, please reach out to the Admissions Office via email at pharmacy@presby.edu or call (864) 938-3746.<\/p>\n<p><strong>June 30<\/strong> \u2013 Accepted applicants should enter all spring grades on their PharmCAS application following the completion of the spring 2024 term. The Spring Academic Update period closes on June 30, 2024. Please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pharmcas.org\/application-instructions\/academic-update\">PharmCAS<\/a> to learn more about the Spring Academic Update process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 15<\/strong> \u2013 Immunization documentation is due to Mrs. Susan Carbonneau (address below) no later than July 15, 2025. Detailed information about immunization requirements is located <a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.presby.edu\/student-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/02\/Immunization-Info-for-Marketing.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. If you have questions about immunization requirements, please contact Mrs. Carbonneau, at scarbo@presby.edu or 864-938-3902.<\/p>\n<p><strong>August 1<\/strong> \u2013 Fall tuition payment due. Students can view and pay their tuition by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/banprod.presby.edu\/ssomanager\/c\/SSB\">BannerWeb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>August 12<\/strong> \u2013 Prerequisite coursework must be complete. Note that you must plan your summer coursework so that all outstanding prerequisites are completed by August 18.<\/p>\n<p>Students completing coursework during the summer must provide proof of registration from the institution(s) at which the courses will be completed.\u00a0 Proof of registration for coursework to be completed during the summer may be submitted via email, fax, or postal mail.\u00a0 A printout of your online registration, receipt of registration, email confirmation of registration or tuition payment, etc. will serve as proof of registration.\u00a0 The following information must be submitted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Institution name<\/li>\n<li>Course designation\/number<\/li>\n<li>Course title<\/li>\n<li>Credit hours<\/li>\n<li>Dates of the summer session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>June 30<\/h3>\n<p>Order your orientation t-shirt and white coat.<\/p>\n<h3>July 1<\/h3>\n<p>Initiate and release your criminal background check to the School of Pharmacy; follow the instructions provided by PharmCAS and Certiphi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drug Screen:\u00a0 <\/strong>Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy also uses Certiphi Screening to administer drug screens.\u00a0 Admission to the School of Pharmacy is conditional pending the results of the drug screen.\u00a0 Certiphi Screening will contact you to initiate the required drug screen; please note that although both are conducted by Certiphi Screening, the criminal background check and drug screen are independent processes.\u00a0 The drug screen must be completed by <strong>July 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive an email to your <strong>PC email address<\/strong> from <a href=\"mailto:studentedition@certiphi.com\">studentedition@certiphi.com<\/a> entitled \u201cApplication Station-Student Edition\u201d that will give you instructions for initiating your drug screen.\u00a0 You must initiate the order for a drug screen via the application station website.\u00a0 To order your drug screen, the information you provide that identifies you as a Presbyterian College student must <u>exactly<\/u> match what the School has submitted to Certiphi Screening, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>If a drug screen is performed before logging on to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.applicationstation.com\">www.applicationstation.com<\/a>\u00a0to complete the application, it will cause a delay with receiving your drug screen results. You must first create your profile and pay for your drug screen on application station before proceeding to the lab.<\/p>\n<p>After ordering and paying for your drug screen, you should go to an approved site for urine collection.\u00a0 All LabCorp sites are approved; additional urine collection clinic locations may be obtained by calling Certiphi Screening at 800.803.7859.<\/p>\n<p>Do not drink coffee or too many fluids prior to your lab visit.\u00a0 If your results are a negative dilute, the facility will require a second drug screen to be completed which will require another payment.\u00a0 Should a negative dilute occur, please contact the school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember after providing your specimen to the lab call into Certiphi\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"tel:800-0799-0945\"><strong>(1-800-799-0945<\/strong><\/a><strong>) to provide your specimen ID#.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>July 15<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Immunizations:\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Pharmacy students at Presbyterian College are required to provide documentation immunization completion.\u00a0 Our rotation site requirements follow the CDC guidelines for healthcare workers as stated at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/adults\/rec-vac\/hcw.html\">http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/adults\/rec-vac\/hcw.html<\/a><u>.<\/u> More specific information is available below.<\/p>\n<p>Immunization records must be submitted by <strong>July 15<\/strong>.\u00a0 You are required to show proof of immunity (titers) or vaccination records and incur all costs for the following vaccinations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>MMR (measles \/ mumps \/ rubella) \u00ad- <\/strong>Submit documentation of 2 vaccinations (administered after 12\/31\/1968 AND after the age of 12 months) OR positive antibody titer (lab report required). If MMR documentation is not available and an antibody titer is negative or equivocal, you must receive the 2-\u00advaccine series. If your series is in process, submit where you are in the series by July 15, 2020, and complete the series by October 1, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TB (Tuberculosis)<\/strong> &#8211; Submit documentation of TB screening as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>TB Skin Test (PPD): If you had a TB skin test between August 1, 2018, and April 1, 2020, you must have an additional 1\u00ad-step TB skin test between May 1-\u00adJuly 8, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>TB Skin Test (PPD): If you have never had a TB skin test or if your last test was before August 1, 2019, you must have a 2\u00ad-step TB skin test administered 1-\u00ad3 weeks apart. This 2-\u00adstep test must be administered between May 1-\u00adJuly 8, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) Lab Test: If you have had IGRA testing since August 1, 2019, you may submit this documentation. The QuantiFERON Gold In\u00adTube Test (QFT) is recommended. If you have a history of having received the BCG vaccination, the QFT is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Chest X\u00adRay: If you have had a previous positive TB skin test or history of BCG, you may submit documentation of a negative chest x\u00adray and TB assessment by a healthcare provider completed since August 1, 2019.<\/li>\n<li>If results of any TB skin test are positive, submit documentation of #3 or #4 above. If the results of an IGRA test are positive, submit documentation of #4 above. If a chest x-ray is positive, further evaluation and treatment by a physician or other appropriate agency are required. Contact the School of Pharmacy for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Tdap (Diphtheria \/ Pertussis \/ Tetanus)<\/strong> &#8211; Submit documentation of a tetanus, diphtheria &amp; pertussis (Tdap) vaccine received since July 2014. If your Tdap was administered before July 2014, submit documentation of tetanus (Td) booster received since July 2014. If you have never received the Tdap as an adult, submit documentation of this vaccine before July 15, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Varicella (chicken pox)<\/strong> &#8211; Submit a positive antibody titer (lab report required). \u00a0If your titer was negative or equivocal, you must receive the 2\u00ad-vaccine series AND then repeat the titer. If your series is in the process, submit where you are in the series by July 15, 2020, and complete the series and the titer by October 31, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hepatitis B<\/strong> &#8211; Submit a qualitative or quantitative positive antibody titer (lab report required) for hepatitis B.\u00a0 If your titer was negative or equivocal or if you have never received the hepatitis-B series, you must receive the 3\u00ad-vaccine series AND then repeat the titer.<\/p>\n<p>If your series is in the process, submit where you are in the series by July 15, 2020, and complete the series and the titer which must be done by March 31, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Students must also be vaccinated for influenza during the fall before the beginning of the spring semester. \u00a0The School provides this vaccine free of charge to all enrolled students.<\/p>\n<h3>August 1<\/h3>\n<p>Pay your tuition.\u00a0 Tuition bills can be viewed online via <a href=\"https:\/\/banners.presby.edu\/prod\/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin?ret_code=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BannerWeb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>August 18<\/h3>\n<p>Remit official transcripts for ALL coursework completed through SUMMER of 2020.\u00a0 Have official transcripts mailed to:<\/p>\n<p>Office of Professional and Student Affairs<br \/>\nSchool of Pharmacy<br \/>\nPresbyterian College<br \/>\n307 North Broad Street<br \/>\nClinton, SC 29325<\/p>\n<p>Obtain health insurance and be prepared to sign a form stating you have health insurance during orientation week.<\/p>\n<h3>August 24<\/h3>\n<p>Matriculate as a student at Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Now that you have been accepted to Presbyterian College, you have some additional items to complete before classes begin in August.
