Wellness Center

Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy (PCSP) Wellness Center was created to serve as a resource to PC and the surrounding community.

The Center is staffed by two pharmacists and faculty members of Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy. The mission of PCSP Wellness Center is to promote personal and community well-being through health and resource awareness and educational programming. Programming, including employee wellness, diabetes education, immunizations, and tobacco cessation, focuses on providing the knowledge and skills necessary to improve and maintain health.

Services

Diabetes Education Class

discusses diabetes management, blood sugar goals, and nutritional guidance.

Medication affordability meeting

determine less expensive medication alternatives or programs to receive expensive medications at a lower cost.

community care pharmacy

Medication review

review all current medications and discuss any medication problems or concerns Weight loss or nutrition counseling–discussion on calorie restriction or nutrition changes to improve weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, or other conditions.

Continuous glucose monitor assistance

help applying, learning, or interpreting results from FreeStyle Libre or Dexcom devices.
