Pharmacists, technicians, and students from across the state came together to network, learn, and share best practices.<\/p>\n<p>Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy was represented well with two platform presentations. PharmD Candidate Anderson Isaac presented \u201cSkin Reactions with Antiepileptics, Mood-Stabilizers, and Psychotropics\u201d with guidance from faculty mentor, Dr. Erika Tillery.<\/p>\n<p>PharmD Candidate Ashley Chase presented \u201cEffect of anti-obesity agents on cardiovascular-related endpoint: A systemic review and meta-analysis\u201d with guidance from faculty mentor, Dr. Jennifer Clements.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Katie Ellis, Assistant Professor, gave a continuing education presentation on &#8220;Consequences and Treatment of Opioid Abuse During Pregnancy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, PCSP students, faculty and alumni presented eight posters.<\/p>\n<p>During the awards luncheon and officer installation ceremony, Jennifer Clements was inducted as president and Mary Douglass Smith as treasurer on the Executive Board of SCSHP.<\/p>\n<p>Meissa O\u2019Dell and Cortney Dodson, both PCSP alums, were inducted as Regional Directors on the Board. Jolly Kuriakose and Adrienne Wright, both P3 students at PCSP, were SCSHP scholarship recipients.
