Why did you decide to become a pharmacist?

I went to pharmacy technician school, and I got a job at a pharmacy.  I saw how much my pharmacists impacted people’s lives and how much the customers loved them! I really wanted that feeling!

Has the pandemic affected your decision to go into healthcare? How so?

If anything, it has made me want to go into healthcare more. This pandemic has shown how valuable pharmacists are in healthcare.

What has been your favorite part of PC School of Pharmacy?

PC is a very small school, in a very small town and it feels like a family. Other schools don’t have that “family” feeling.  I am so thankful I chose PC because I’ve gained another family!  Everyone at PC will talk to you– it doesn’t matter if you are a student or faculty member, they will speak to you.  I have really enjoyed getting to know more about my professors and the faculty!

What makes PC School of Pharmacy unique?

PC’s professors have an “open-door” policy, and students are always welcome into their offices. These professors really want what is best for their students and they want them to succeed.  Professors have stayed late to help us study for the exam to make sure we were prepared.
