Qualified students enrolled in Presbyterian College’s School of Pharmacy are eligible for financial aid. Typically, only loans are available to finance any balance. The PC School of Pharmacy fund is being established to allow us to award grants and scholarships.
Presbyterian College offers the following loan programs to Pharmacy Students:
- Direct Student Loan
- Graduate Direct PLUS Loan
- Private/Alternative loan
Direct Student loans can be borrowed through the Direct Loan program. Graduate students have additional annual and aggregate loan limits over undergraduate students. Graduate and professional degree students are now eligible to borrow under the Direct PLUS Loan Program up to their cost of attendance minus other estimated financial assistance from the Direct Loan Program. Private/Alternative loans can be used by students who may not qualify for the Graduate Direct PLUS loan or wish to borrow from a different source.
More information regarding these products can be found on our loans page.
State Merit Scholarships
South Carolina residents who have not yet exhausted their eight semesters of eligibility for Palmetto Fellows/Enhancement or LIFE Scholarship/Enhancement may be eligible for them as a Pharmacy student.

Applying for Financial Aid
Pharmacy students can begin the process of applying for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the only form needed in order to apply for financial aid. Students are requested to complete the FAFSA by Presbyterian College’s priority funding date of March 1. The FAFSA is available each year beginning January 1. Students without completed tax returns can estimate the income information and then update the FAFSA once taxes are completed.
