Message from the Dean

Pharmacists play a vital role in patient care through the medicine and information they provide. While responsibilities vary within different areas of pharmacy practice, the bottom line is that pharmacists help patients get well because they care.
As the demand for health care increases, the United States faces a significant challenge in providing access to quality care. In any given week most U.S. adults take at least one medication and many take multiple medications. An aging population, geographic distribution of available pharmacists, and scientific advances increase our challenge to provide excellent pharmacy services.
Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy is focused on managing the health care problems of patients, particularly those in underserved communities. State-of-the-art technologies in all aspects of the educational process help ensure that graduates are capable of providing effective health care.
We are currently accepting applications for next year, and invite you to submit your materials for consideration by our admissions committee.
Congratulations on your decision to make pharmacy your career, and we look forward to hearing from you and giving you the opportunity to become a part of PC’s family.
Sincerely,
Richard Stull, Ph.D., Dean
